Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get CEU's for this course?
Yes, students who complete the course will receive a certification of completion that will list the number of hours completed which you can then submit to your Training Group Administrator for approval.
When does the course start and finish?
Once you register for the course, you will receive the introduction lesson and the first lesson immediately. Then, every week a new lesson will become available and added to your Dashboard until you have received every lesson. You will then have access to the entire course for the remainder of the year. However, keep in mind that the course is self-paced, so even though you'll have access to a new lesson each week, you can take as much time as you'd like to complete the course.
Can I use this course to renew my FP-C or CCP-C?
Yes, this course is approved by the IBSC as an approved review course and can be used to renew both your FP-C and CCP-C certification.
Will I be eligible to sit for the exam after taking this course?
While it's always possible the IBSC could change their policies, at this time there is no requirement to take a review course to sit for either the FP-C, or CCP-C exam. That said, many providers find taking a review exam extremely helpful in preparing them to sit for their exam.
Will I be able to ask an instructor questions?
You bet! That is the primary benefit of this course over any other online Flight or Critical Care Paramedic Certification Review Course. Students will have numerous options for interacting with an instructor including in course threaded comments, direct email, live group webinars, a Private Facebook Group dedicated exclusively for Academy students, and even 1-on-1 video calls. Whatever support you need to help you THRIVE you'll get.. That's my promise to you.
Is EPICC an IBSC Approved Review Course?
Yes!
Do I need a text for this course? Will you be providing a text?
The short answer is no. Every idea and concept will be covered in the course material. That being said, remember this is a Review Course. Not a prep course. This course in meant to compliment your own studies. Furthermore, it is expected that you have already taken the standard classes including the most recent update of ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and NRP. We also recommend you take ABLS, AMLS, and STABLE before sitting for the exam. If you're looking for recommendations for study texts, check out my resource page over at www.flightcrit.com/resources. This is where a constantly post new textbooks, and other resources that I feel will help you succeed.
